31 years ago today, my parents, still teenagers then, got married and started a family. And sure, every couple has their ups and downs, and every family has their rough times...but I defy you to find a family (and a couple), who have been through what my parents have.

Their relationship was driven to the brink and pushed right the hell off...but somehow, call it a miracle, call it love, call it stubbornness for all I care (just kidding), they managed to climb back off the edge of that cliff and now their marriage (and consequently our entire family), is now stronger and closer than ever before...go figure.

Happy 31st Anniversary Mom and Dad, some people still wonder how you managed through all the tough times, hell even I do...but one look at the both of you together and it's not hard to see that your marriage isn't just a marriage, it's an unstoppable force of nature which few people in this world will ever come close to experiencing with their own spouses. You guys are truly an inspiration and I love you both.
